Activating Replyable triggers a fatal error in WordPress

There is currently a known bug in Replyable. In some cases activating the plugin will cause a conflict with other plugins which use the common scb-framework:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare scb_init() (previously declared in /xxx/xxx/www/wp-content/plugins/wp-pagenavi/scb/load.php:101) in /xxx/xxx/www/wp-content/plugins/postmatic/vendor/scribu/scb-framework/load-composer.php on line 8

How to work around it

Until we release a patch the simplest way around the problem is simple:

  1. Identify the plugin causing the conflict. This can be done by looking at the path mentioned in the error message. It will say something like xxx/xxx/www/wp-content/plugins/PLUGIN-NAME. In the example error code above it is wp-pagenavi.
  2. Disable the conflicting plugin (wp-pagenavi)
  3. Enable Replyable
  4. Re-anable wp-pagenavi.
